"We needed help in the area of major donor development. We are extremely pleased with the results from our first year of partnering with DSG - with a revenue increase of over 34%. Thank you, DSG, for your hard work, friendship and partnership in helping us build an effective major donor strategy."

Nick Greene, Board Chairman, Paul Anderson Ministries

"At Nonprofit University and the Georgia Center for Nonprofits, we strive to identify upper echelon individuals who can help provide training, education, and guidance for our nonprofit organizations and those that work with them. We have been very lucky to add Steve to our list of instructors. Steve not only has a wealth of knowledge and understanding regarding donor development and nonprofit organizational development, but excels at presenting the information in a manner that is easy to understand. His passion and energy ignites our classes with enthusiasm and motivates the participants to have a positive impact on their organizations. We are thankful to have Steve as part of our Nonprofit University team."

Ellen Johnson, Sr Director of Education, Nonprofit University and the Georgia Center for Non-Profits

National expansion strategy...
Recently, DSG engaged a ministry in So Cal seeking to expand its impact in local communities across the U.S. Not only did we build the strategy, but also partnered with leadership to implement the plan for the "17-city Campaign."   We saw success in the first city of the new "Campaign," achieving nearly 40% of the funds needed for 2011 in the launch city alone....

Foundation funds create impact...

Thousands received free wheelchairs recently because of strategic and persistent efforts with new foundations.... Through the creation of the Ministry Brief, foundation searches, and campaign efforts through effective mail, written proposals and building of relationships, funds are coming in that will provide wheelchairs...impacting thousands of individuals and hundreds of families with the "gift of mobility." God is good.

From crisis to opportunity...
When an international ministry focused on education first hired DSG, they had $20K in debt, a donor file of 200 contacts and an operating budget of $400K.  After just three years of working with us to develop and implement a full-scale integrated donor cultivation and marketing strategy, they had over 2,500 donors and a budget of over $2,000,000.

Helping Serve People in Need...
Social service organizations are in great demand today given the difficult times in which we live.  When such an organization needed to raise nearly $1 Million dollars to expand their services and provide medical support, they engaged DSG.  By fleshing out the development strategy, tools, relationships, and resources, DSG helped raise the funds from new foundations and individuals who felt an alignment to these exact services.

Taking a ministry to the next level...
This ministry was doing amazing work in a country very few thought could harbor fruitful ministry.  Their budget was just under $1,000,000 - but they knew that if they had more resources, their impact in the region could significantly increase.  After working with DSG for five years, their ministry budget is now over $4,000,000 and continues to grow.  A recent development tour coordinated and managed by DSG worked in conjunction with the ministry’s “Impact Plan” to garner over $1,000,000 in gifts and pledges.

Raising funds for a capital campaign...
A ministry serving local “poor & needy” had recently borrowed funds to purchase their new building, which greatly increased their ability to serve the community.  They hired DSG to help galvanize the funds to pay off the $2,500,000 note.  In just 90 days the DSG team was able build a strategy and develop the materials that resulted in a successful capital campaign.

Putting a new ministry on the map...
When a start-up ministry approached DSG to work with them, they had no strategy, no donor file, a miniscule budget and were virtually unknown in the community.  DSG worked with them to establish a strategy, create a growing donor file and increase the budget to $600,000 in under a year.  In addition to bringing on an increasing number of smaller monthly donors, DSG has help secure multiple major donor gifts and foundation grants, as well as put together a major donor event attended by over 150 of the city’s key community and business leaders.
